Giving at CCB
We deliberately do not take a collection at our Sunday services. We do not want any of our guests or newcomers to misunderstand our motives, and we want our church members to think carefully and prayerfully about their giving rather than just digging out whatever is in their wallets. Below are some reasons why people who love Jesus wish to give generously.

- When making a donation via online banking or cheque, please use “The Co-Mission Churches Trust” (our charity name) as the beneficiary (recipient) name. Rest assured, the whole of your donation and any associated Gift Aid will still go directly to Christ Church Balham’s separate bank account, but the new Confirmation of Payee banking requirements mean that if you enter “Christ Church Balham” as the beneficiary name, you may encounter error messages.
- All gifts are handled by the Co-Mission Churches Trust (CMCT) finance team, so none of the CCB elders knows how much anyone is giving to CCB. Only the names of current donors are supplied by CMCT to the CCB elders in the quarterly finance updates, so that we can be accountable to each other as a church family.

“Dear friends, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, even though they are strangers to you… It was for the sake of the Name that they went out, receiving no help from unbelievers. We ought therefore to show hospitality to such people so that we may work together for the truth”.
TO EASE THE SUFFERING OF CHRISTIANS ELSEWHERE
