Coming up at Christ Church Balham

Join us later in March as we ask the following questions of God.

Is God Defensible?

Monday 16 March, 7.45 drinks, 8pm start
Hamilton House, 211 Balham High Rd, SW17 7BQ
Bring your objections to Christianity and see if our panel can make the case for God. Our panellists are:
Dave Lee - a minister at St Peter's church in Fulham, having completed a PhD in particle physics before entering theological training
Carl Laferton - senior editor at The Good Book Co, author of Original Jesus, Promises Kept and Christmas Uncut, and an Oxford history graduate
Sara Adamson - serves on the student ministry team at St Helen's Church, Bishopsgate, after postgraduate chemistry studies at Imperial College.

Is God Fun?

Wednesday 18 March, 7.45 drinks, 8pm start
Hamilton House, 211 Balham High Rd, SW17 7BQ
Interview, talk and Q&A with James Cary.  James is a comedy scriptwriter, who has worked extensively for BBC television and radio.  He's written for Think the Unthinkable, Miranda, Concrete Cow, Bluestone 42, My Hero, My Family, and Hut 33.  His first book, Death By Civilisation, was published in 2013.  We'll hear from Jam about some of his experiences in the world of comedy.  We'll also hear about why he believes in Jesus, and how that fits with his chosen career!
