Our youth club for school years 3 to 6
Dangerous Club is a youth group run by Christ Church Balham for kids in school years 3 to 6. With a wide range of “dangerous” activities conducted in a safe environment, Dangerous Club combines fun and games with a chance to hear from God’s word in the bible.
Previous dangerous clubs have featured controlled explosions, microwave baking, snowball fights and even fireballs!
With a high ratio of adults, we ensure that every child leaves with amazing stories and a huge smile! Please click one of the sign up buttons on this page to register your child for this year’s Dangerous Club.

This notice is intended to give you some information about how we will use any personal data about you and your child which you may have provided to us, or which you may provide in the future.
Dangerous Club is run by Christ Church Balham, a part of The Co-Mission Churches Trust (Company no. 07496944 and Registered Charity no. 1139922), which is the data controller for the personal data which you have provided about you and your child.
We use the personal data which you have previously provided to us, whether via an electronic form or in person at Dangerous Club (including any medical data relating to your child) for us to plan and run Dangerous Club, specifically in relation to your child’s attendance of Dangerous Club, and to ensure their safety and security whilst at Dangerous Club.
We will only contact you in case of an emergency, and occasionally with important information regarding Dangerous Club or events related to Dangerous Club.
We may also from time to time anonymise the data we hold on your child, for example to produce generic statistics about the number of children who attend Dangerous Club over a given year.
Any information provided to us via an electronic form will be stored as a password-protected completed Google form, until the information is transferred to a password-protected spreadsheet. Any information provided in person at Dangerous Club will be transferred to a password-protected spreadsheet. Only the leaders in charge of Dangerous Club will have access to the Google account where the completed forms are stored, and to the password-protected spreadsheet.
The personal data which you provide will be held by us for the duration of the academic year in which it is provided, following which we will review on a regular basis whether we need to continue to hold this data. Factors relevant to this review will include: (i) whether your child is still in the Dangerous Club age range (school years 3 to 6); and (ii) whether your child is still regularly attending Dangerous Club.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your and your child’s data. However, if you do so, unfortunately your child will be unable to continue to attend Dangerous Club, as this data is required for us to keep them safe. Please [contact us] [mailto: email@example.com] if you wish to withdraw your consent, or if you have any other queries about how we hold your data.
Where there has been an incident at Dangerous (such as an injury) involving your child, we may ask you to fill in a specific incident form at the end of Dangerous Club, which will be held in an electronic format and the physical copy destroyed. We will hold the information provided on this form on the basis of our legitimate interests, and may hold this for longer than the personal data provided in other contexts.
We will seek to keep the personal data which you have provided up to date, and will usually request that a new form is filled out for each academic year to ensure that this is done.
